THE BREATH CYCLE

Following the previous train of thought, it can be concluded that apart from carrying out gas exchange, the lungs also perform an energy exchange with the outside world, and they play a role in inner energy uptake and in governing and conveying this energy. This is what we call, here and now, the full breath cycle. The aim of the course is to learn how to control this breath cycle consciously. As you can see, our lungs have multiple tasks, and taking up prana is a small, but significant part of the whole process. It is important, because in the absence of prana the process cannot even start. And even if one has enough prana for it to get started, the breath cycle can get blocked at several points. This is why we need to take the whole process under control.
